What the heck?

   Posted by: admin   in Uncategorized

I was working my way through a selection of Belgian (and German) beers last night when I cracked open a bottle of Delirium Tremens when i noticed the weirdest sediment I have ever seen. I am completely stumped as to what this might be. There were no strong off flavours in the beer, and apart from the odd visual spectacle, the beer was quite drinkable.

Any clues?

I’d say depending on the age that it’d going through a bit if yeasty death. If young and fresh – it’s an issue, but if 6 months to a year – it’s feeling the fear, and having a spaz. Basically the yeast is either unsettled, or freaking out.

Nice one. cheers for that. It was a bit daunting to look at, but I drank it and it didn’t seem *too weird*.
